Writing about the creatures I love — frogs, dogs, cats, lizards, & all the rest. More coming as I put words to what I've always just felt. I love looking into an animal's eyes and wondering what kind of experience of reality they are having. What is their consciousness like? How do they perceive and interpret the world around them? Plus — they're super cute. I'll add more here soon. But I'll first write about my love of polliwogs — how they are this little blip in the lifespan of a frog or tadpole. An in-between, temporary but distinct. I think of them like caterpillars turning to chrysalis to butterfly. I love polliwogs, but also all kinds of critters. I hope we can give them an Earth they deserve & treat the ones in captivity with the best husbandry possible. More soon.
